Barkle

A premium, veterinarian-supported canine oral care brand. Eighty percent of dogs develop periodontal disease by age three, and the options were costly, unpleasant or required anesthesia. We built a brand that made daily oral care simple, science-backed and something dogs and their owners could share.

The intention

From a vet visit to a daily ritual.

Pet oral care was split between cheap, ineffective treats in big-box stores and expensive cleanings under anesthesia. We positioned Barkle in between: upscale and science-backed, but never a luxury good, with packaging and a subscription model to match.

The brand had to feel caring and approachable to owners while earning the trust of veterinarians, so every piece pairs a warm, playful system of dog-and-tooth icons with clear, clinical product design.

Brand strategy

Better health. Longer life. More love.

Mission

To improve the quality and length of a dog’s life with proven, science-backed solutions.

Personality

Confident, innovative and empathetic, driven to find better ways to help dogs and their owners.

Caring, relatable, reliable, knowledgeable, approachable, optimistic, easy to use and science-based.
